Investors reacted positively to the company’s announcement that it has been approved to uplist to The Nasdaq Global Market (“Nasdaq”). Trading is expected to begin in the coming days under the ticker symbol “GAME”. The Company will update the market in the near future as to the date when trading on Nasdaq will begin.
A2Z Smart Technologies Corp. (CVE:AZ) was another winner among the top winners as the stock went up C$0.40 or 12.27% to end the session at $3.66. The stock saw an unusual volume with more than 140K shares traded hands, compared to its daily average volume of 42K shares. The stock has soared 355% so far this year. Last week, the company announced (further to its press releases of April 9, 2021, May 11, 2021 and May 14, 2021) that it has received final TSX Venture Exchange approval to its two previously announced private placements.
Sokoman Minerals Corp. (CVE:SIC) continued to gain momentum and made another new 52-week high on Monday. SIC stock leaped by 17.19% to close at its 52-week high of C$0.75. Total volume for the session was 1.67 million – almost twice its average volume of 880K shares. The stock opened at C$.70 and moved within a range of C$0.6900 – 0.7500. The stock has been witnessing a nice uptrend over the past month with a gain of 63%. Moreover, the stock is up 150% year-to-date.
Last week, the company announced that, further to its April 13, 2021 news release, it has now closed its private placement and issued 3,770,592 units of the Company to Eric Sprott for gross proceeds of $980,354 (the “Financing”).
