Cellect Biotechnology (APOP) Stock Enters The Breakout Zone: What Next?

The Cellect Biotechnology (NASDAQ:APOP) stock is expected to be in focus among investors today after it managed to clock gains of as much as 27% yesterday.

The stock surged yesterday after it emerged that the company had submitted a registration statement at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission in relation to its merger with the Quoin Pharmaceuticals. It is important to point out that Quoin is a privately held company, which is involved with developing medicines for orphan and rare diseases.

Cellect believes that the sort of progress that Quoin has made with regards to its clinical programs and the fact that it has managed to attract investments to the tune of $25.5 million are a couple of factors behind this investment. Cellect also believes that the merger, which is expected to be completed at some point in the third quarter of 2021, is also going to unlock considerable value for its shareholders.

On Thursday, APOP stock soared by 26.91% to $4.15 with more than 78.61 million shares, compared to  its average volume of 2.13 million shares. The stock has moved within a range of $3.9100 – 6.3300 after opening the trade at $5.78. Over the past 52-week, the stock has been trading within a range of $1.6500 – 7.1500.
