Fleet Management Stocks in the News: Ultrack Systems (OTCMKTS:MJLB), Motion Acquisition Corp (Nasdaq:MOTN), Sierra Wireless (Nasdaq:SWIR), Inseego Corp. (Nasdaq:INSG)

Several Fleet Management and Transportation companies are in the news recently.  Here is a rundown of stocks to watch in the category.

Ultrack Systems, Inc. (OTCMKTS:MJLB) a Fleet Management company whose “DriveLineELD” electronic logging device is on the brink of being the first approved device in Canada ahead of a major mandate recently announced they are expanding the company’s product line within key European fleet markets with Teltonika hardware (https://teltonika-networks.com).

MJLB has already positioned itself to take advantage of an Electronic Logging Device mandate in North America, this new expansion will do the same for the company in Europe.  

Europe is in the process of finalizing its Tachograph mandate for commercial fleets. MJLB through its work with Teltonika will be able to service this mandate.  

This is a big opportunity, Deloitte predicts more than 10 million new corporate car registrations in Western Europe in one year for the first time. This equals a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 3.5% between 2016 and 2020 or almost double the growth rate of the overall European car sales market.

Motion Acquisition Corp. (Nasdaq:MOTN) will be merging with  Ambulnz, Inc., d/b/a DocGo, a leading provider of last-mile telehealth and integrated medical mobility services.  This week the company announced it will be a major sponsor of The National EMS Memorial Bike Ride (NEMSMBR).

Sierra Wireless, Inc. (Nasdaq:SWIR) an IoT solutions company announced yesterday the company will release financial results for the Second Quarter ended June 30, 2021, on Thursday, August 12, 2021. Phil Brace, President and CEO, and Sam Cochrane, CFO, will host a conference call and webcast with analysts and investors to review the results at 5:30 p.m. Eastern Time the same day. 

Inseego Corp. (Nasdaq:INSG) another IoT company providing 5G device-to-cloud solutions, just introduced its Wavemaker PRO 2000e industrial gateway.
