The COO of Cielo WasteSolutions Corp (OTCMKTS:CWSFF), Mr. Gregg Gegunde has also assumed the post of CEO alongside Mr. Don Allan, who retains his position as the President and Chair of the Board. Responsibilities will now be shared between them, as the company looks forward to pursuing new opportunities.
As President, CEO and Chair of the Board of Directors, Mr. Allan has spearheaded the R&D wing of the company for years, and contributed largely to its successful track record of diesel production, which they continue to build on today. Mr. Gegunde, as COO, has demonstrated his skill and commitment to the company time and again via his solid management decisions and engineering capabilities. There were some delays regarding the commercialization of its technology, but now with its proof of concept in place, it can be scaled up big time.
An operational update was provided too, about the desulfurization process unit, which is all set for the warm-up and start-up, as the end of September is round the corner. The current process at the company facility in Aldersyde, Alberta, is undergoing design enhancements and system modifications. They are also working on the designs of a scaled-down version (60-litres per hour) of a complete process system that will mimic a full-scale 4,000-lph facility.
Apart from the developments mentioned above, the company is looking for professionals at their Calgary office, with expertise in creating effective cost controls, instituting budgeting processes and capturing synergies.
