Company producing high quality, 100% plant-based gluten-free, non-GMO nutritious comfort foods for family, Boosh Plant-Based Brands Inc (OTCMKTS:VGGIF) on October 10, 2021, announced executing Share Purchase Agreement for purchasing all shares of Pulse Kitchen Specialty.
Manufacturing 100% plant-based gluten-free cheese, Pulse Kitchen’s products have ingredients such as seeds, nuts, pulses as well as other ingredients such as Almond Chevre, Sharp Cashew Cheddar, Almond Swiss, Dill Havarti, Vegan Pepper Jack amongst others. Its products are available across 250 grocery stores in Canada including Nature’s Fare, Whole Foods, Healthy Planet, IGA, Fresh St Market, Urban Fare amongst others.
Chef StephanosLiapis, owner, and founder of Pulse Kitchen, said that joining Boosh is the perfect fit for the firm as the emphasis remains on creating delicious flavored plant-based cheeses. Liapis added that its products take center stage on any charcuterie board.
Founder and president, Connie Marples, said that the company is thrilled on welcoming Stephanos, Brigitte to the Boosh team and is optimistic about its products pairing well the line of Vege pate as well as dips from the recently acquired business, Salt Spring Harvest.
Marples added that Boosh would be having a complete line of foods that gel with wine and having a production facility in Penticton, the heart of the wine county adds to the cache of the Pulse Kitchen brand.
CEO Jim Pakulis said that this is the third acquisition in less than nine months and the company is focused on executing business plans. The aggregate purchase price for Pulse Kitchen is $300,000 in cash.
