Atacama Resources International Inc (OTC:ACRL) Stock Rallies 10% After New Chief Operating Officer

Companies that make key new announcements in the C suite often garner attention from investors, and for good reason too, given the importance of such appointments. Yesterday, Atacama Resources International Inc. (OTC:ACRL) hit the newswires after the company announced that it had appointed a new Chief Operating Officer in the form of Greg Praver. In the news release, the company noted that the appointment of Praver was an important one since he represented the new generation. However, that was not all.

The company also noted that, in addition to his commitment to boosting the interest of shareholders, Praver had also displayed an enthusiastic and progressive style throughout his tenure at Atacama Resources International. He would be involved in accelerating the future and current drilling activities of the company. The appointment came about following the retirement of Dan Finch. Finch had been the Chief Operating Officer of the company along with Glenn Grant since 2015 and had been pivotal in turning Atacama Resources International from a private entity into an OTC Markets Pink-listed publicly traded company.

While Finch expressed his pride at his many accomplishments over the course of the past eight years, he indicated that it was a good time for the company to promote fresh talent. He would be available as an advisor during the transition phase. The Chief Executive Officer of the company, Glenn Grant, spoke about the latest developments as well. He noted that the appointment of Praver constituted a major new step in the succession plan of Atacama Resources International. He called Praver a great fit with the future plans of the company. He went on to add that since his time as an early investor in the company, the new COO has been a major contributor to the company’s progress.
