American Green Inc (OTCMKTS:ERBB) integrated a payment interface to its Emporium and CBD store to accept payments in Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC), USD Coin (USDC), Dai (DAI), and Bitcoin Cash (BCH).
Vice President (Global online sales) of American Green, Kevin Davis, said the company commenced accepting cryptocurrencies after conducting extensive tests on its e-commerce platform. Those opting to purchase cannabis products are enjoying a smooth experience at its site.
American Green now provides an alternative payment option for customers to buy cannabidiol products, concentrates, and cannabis edibles using cryptocurrencies like Ethereum and Bitcoin worldwide.
Prevents cryptocurrency volatility
The new initiative helps American Green realize its ambition to operate across the world and in the US. It immediately converts the cryptocurrencies received for the payments using the conversion rate of that day to $ to prevent volatility.
