School Innovates Classroom With Boxlight Technology
- announced the successful incorporation of the ProColor interactive flat panel displays in Hickory Creek Elementary School (McMinnville, TN).
- Hickory Creek ES set a four-year plan to replace aging short throw projectors with the state-of-the-art and user-friendly ProColor interactive panels. Each classroom now has a panel, including Special Education classrooms.
- Boxlight partner, Central Technologies, facilitated installation and initial and ongoing training and support. The positive feedback from teachers and principal Mike Mansfield has led to other schools in the district implementing the ProColor interactive panels on their sites.
Mike Mansfield states, “Principals in the district have seen what our teachers and students are doing with the panels. The interest has grown! Even outside of the district, there is increasing interest and most districts have started the process of having the panels in their schools.”
Katrina Haley, Director of Technology of Warren County Schools, comments, “Our goal is to purchase a panel for every auditorium, cafeteria, classroom, conference room, gym, and library in our district.”
