The stock saw higher than average volume with more than 6.23 million shares exchanged hands, compared to its average volume of 1.08 million shares. The company announced that it’s Chief Executive Officer, Carsten Brunn, Ph.D., will provide a corporate update and participate in one-on-one investor meetings at the Jefferies Virtual Healthcare Conference to be held June 1-4, 2021.
Cortexyme (NASDAQ:CRTX) continued to move higher and extended weekly gains. On Wednesday, stock has gained by $5.04 or 13% to end the session at $43.85. After opening at $38.51, the stock has moved within a wide range of $39.09 – 44.00. On Wednesday, the company announced that Chris Lowe, the company’s chief operating officer and chief financial officer, will participate at two virtual investor conferences in June 2021.

Although there was no news for such a rally, but the stock picked up after the recent slump. The stock has fallen 48.50% so far in 2021 and 43% in the past year.
