Lavras Gold launches Gold Trail in Rio Grande do Sul
The initiative had been launched earlier on in the month by the company’s Brazilian subsidiary unit Lavras du SulMineracao. The initiative is being called the Gold Trail and was launched in partnership with the Brazilian subsidiary. It is going to comprise a route made up of five different stations each of which would provide a glimpse into the gold mining history of the community.
The country manager Paulo Serpa spoke about the initiative from the company as well. He noted that the company wanted the experience to be an interactive one. At the start of each visit, the children are going to be provided with a passport for each station and there would also be a presentation on the importance of the respective stations.
The trail would finally end at the station that houses the company’s headquarters and a geologist would be responsible for providing a presentation with drill core and mineral samples.
